Job Description

We are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team. As a developer at LMAX, you will work in a dynamic environment enabled by fast feedback, where you will have the opportunity to develop and learn new skills. Our team is encouraged to constantly develop and learn new skills, and we have a strong culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Our continuous integration and testing culture allows us to have confidence in our builds and develop quickly. We have over 30,000 acceptance tests running every 25 minutes in our CI, alongside extensive test suites. We use pair programming in small teams of developers and testers, who also write code, to ensure that our code is performant, reliable, and well-tested.

As a developer at LMAX, you will work across a variety of teams covering a wide range of technologies, including Java, MySQL, Kafka, and Kubernetes. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from performance-critical components to greenfield cloud-based systems.

Requirements
  • Be passionate about software development and have a strong understanding of Java and related technologies.
  • Have experience with continuous integration and testing, and be familiar with tools such as Jenkins and Selenium.
  • Be able to work in a dynamic environment and be comfortable with fast-paced development.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
