About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Software Developer to join our team at Software Defined Automation GmbH. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the integration and delivery of high-quality software into a variety of embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software based on state-of-the-art controllers to deliver enhanced battery performance according to best practices and industry standards
  • Liaise with customers to define requirements, design interfaces and to resolve integration challenges
  • Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve our software products, tools and engineering processes, driving efficiency and automation in all aspects of your work
Requirements
  • Proficiency developing Model-Based software algorithms in Simulink and scripting in MATLAB
  • Experience designing and debugging software on embedded systems and microcontrollers
  • Experience with Real-Time control and modelling techniques
  • Working knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (e.g. Git)
  • Experience with Embedded C/C++/Python is a plus
  • Domain knowledge of batteries and/or battery management systems (BMS) is a plus
  • Experience with automotive standards (AUTOSAR, ISO26262, ASPICE) is a plus
