Senior Heritage Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Heritage Consultant to join our team at Allen & York. As a key member of our environmental consultancy, you will manage a diverse portfolio of heritage-related projects, providing expert advice to clients on planning processes and contributing to new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing heritage impact assessments
  • Providing expert advice at various stages of development
  • Acting as an expert witness when required
  • Growing the consultancy's client base through networking and maintaining excellent client relationships

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in a relevant role
  • Strong understanding of planning and heritage legislation
  • Ability to assess the impact of changes on heritage assets
  • Membership with IHBC and experience with EIA assessments
