Senior Consultant Opportunity

SLR's Archaeology & Heritage team is seeking a high-calibre candidate to join our expanding built heritage team, working on a wide range of projects across the UK. As a Senior Consultant, you will have the opportunity to undertake exciting projects and develop our client base in the Built Environment sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver projects ranging from research and feasibility studies to heritage statements and impact assessments.
  • Provide informed, expert advice to clients and colleagues on heritage constraints and opportunities.
  • Negotiate effective methodologies and proportionate scopes of work.
  • Prepare authoritative heritage documents in support of planning applications.
  • Undertake business planning and marketing of SLR's heritage services.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree-level qualification in heritage or a demonstrably equivalent level of experience and/or accreditation.
  • Thorough knowledge of the UK planning system with respect to heritage.
  • Track record of inputting into successful project delivery across diverse market sectors.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
