About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is for a Clinical Lead Specialist to work within our Specialist Neuropsychiatric service as a Band 8a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Neuropsychiatry.
As a Clinical Lead Specialist, you will work in partnership with clinical and operational leaders and a broad range of stakeholders from across the local system to ensure we continue to provide a high-quality service.
You will be responsible for the application of clinical care and interventions that enhance quality, improve service delivery, and have positive experience outcomes for patients, carers, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Support effective practical leadership in service areas and promote a culture of high performance and clinical excellence.
- Prioritize activities to provide the most efficient, effective, and safe pathway and escalate any concerns that will prevent this from happening.
- Support and monitor the assigned care pathway quality and improvement plans.
- Work in partnership with Unit Managers to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, as well as coordination of quality improvement initiatives, clinical audit, and NICE guidelines.
- Holiday allowance of 261 hours per annum paid inclusive of bank holidays, with additional holidays for long service.
