We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice in Childcare at our Nursery on the Green Day Nursery in Southall. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with our team to create a safe and supportive learning environment for children.
- Plan and implement activities to enhance children's development and learning.
- Interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure individual needs are met.
- Adhere to nursery routines and policies, seeking guidance from leadership as needed.
- Manage time effectively to submit coursework by deadlines.
- Competitive hourly pay rate with opportunities for increases.
- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications in maths and English.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification and a permanent contract upon successful completion.
- Childcare discount, fully-paid enhanced DBS check, and complimentary meals.
- 23 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays, and the option to buy and sell days.
- Annual conference and awards event recognizing individual and team achievements.
- Right to work in the UK, photographic ID, and official documentation for national insurance number.
- Access to a computer for online assessments and coursework submission.
- Residency in the UK for at least 3 years and comfort with travel to group training sessions.
