About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Professional to join our dynamic team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Project Delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project schedules, managing stakeholder involvement to ensure strategic delivery of projects.
  • Define and enact an Engineering Bill of Materials strategy, based on business requirements, continuous improvements, and best industry practice.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks to the success of projects, applying appropriate Project Management methods and tools.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of a team plan of activities, with effective reporting of progress to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Professional Project Management or engineering qualification or demonstrable experience.
  • Experience in Engineering, with an understanding and appreciation of the engineering bill of materials and life cycle management.
  • Proven ability to manage and engage a diverse range of stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving consensus towards shared goals.
  • The capacity to identify and troubleshoot project challenges, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
Desirable Skills
  • Previous experience of working with Jira or Atlassian Suite.
  • APM PMQ, Prince 2 or relevant experience within Project Management.
