Consultant Psychiatrist in Learning Disability

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our established multi-professional team at the Memory Clinic in Hull.
The successful candidate will have clinical responsibility for diagnosing complex cases, formulating treatment plans, and working collaboratively with nursing and psychology services to provide an assessment service.
Main Responsibilities- Diagnose and manage complex cases of older adults and individuals with learning disabilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
- Work closely with nursing and psychology services to provide a comprehensive assessment service
- Prescribe cognitive enhancers and review CT scan results
- Inform GPs of physical health problems
This is an integral post in the delivery of multi-professional memory services to older adults and individuals with learning disabilities across Hull and East Yorkshire.

Person Specification- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management
- Additional clinical qualifications or endorsements
