About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our established multi-professional team at the Memory Clinic at Coltman Street, Hull. The successful candidate will have clinical responsibility for diagnosing complex cases, formulating treatment plans, and working with nursing and psychology services to provide an assessment service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage complex cases of older adults and learning disability
  • Formulate and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Work with nursing and psychology services to provide an assessment service
  • Prescribe cognitive enhancers and review CT scan results
  • Inform GPs of physical health problems
Person Specification

We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with:

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Experience in working with older adults and learning disability
  • Ability to work in a team and lead clinical teams
  • Commitment to shared leadership and collaborative working
  • Participation in continuous professional development and research
