We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Business Solutions Expert to join our team at Aspen Technology. As a Principal Solution Consultant, you will play a key role in driving business growth and delivering high-quality solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Industry-Specific Solutions: Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions using AspenTech's advanced process control and dynamic optimization technologies.
  • Identify Business Opportunities: Work with sales teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, and develop solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Deliver Transformational Results: Drive transformational results and realize business strategy for AspenTech customers by delivering high-quality solutions and business outcomes.
  • Build Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing expert advice and guidance on AspenTech solutions and services.
  • Develop Sales Campaigns: Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute sales campaigns and plans, identifying key customer technical challenges and developing solutions to meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience as a consultant, pre-sales, or professional services consultant, particularly in refining or olefins experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with multivariable process control technologies (Aspen DMCplus or DMC3 preferred), real-time optimization technologies, or refining planning and scheduling.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of economic scenarios and drivers in refining and other industries, with the ability to interact with potential clients and discuss their production facilities, economics, and work processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate high-level technical solutions to business problems and the differentiated value those solutions can provide.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel up to 50% of the time.
