About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at Western Digital. As a key member of our Platforms Business Unit, you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, expanding our customer base, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, product, and marketing teams
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics
- Travel to customer sites and industry events to build relationships and promote Western Digital's products and services
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development and sales growth in data storage, storage networking, or related areas
- Strong technical skills and ability to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data storage, storage networking, or related areas with storage ODMs, OEMs, Systems Integrators, and Hyperscale Data Centers
- Previous experience in storage networking topologies is a plus
