About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned HR leader to join our team at Handy Recruit. As a Head of HR/People, you will be responsible for shaping and driving the HR strategy for our growing clients in the creative industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement HR Strategies

Design and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring a positive impact on organisational performance.

  • Lead and Manage the HR Team

Lead and manage the HR team, ensuring efficient and effective HR operations, and providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.

  • Talent Acquisition and Retention

Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and development initiatives, ensuring that our clients have access to top talent in the creative industries.

  • Employee Engagement and Culture Transformation

Drive employee engagement and culture transformation efforts, ensuring that our clients' workplaces are positive, inclusive, and productive.

  • Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and manage risk to protect our clients' interests.

  • Strategic HR Advice

Provide strategic HR advice to senior management and business leaders, ensuring that HR is a key partner in driving business success.

  • Compensation and Benefits

Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring that they are competitive and aligned with business objectives.

  • Change Management and Organisational Development

Lead change management and organisational development projects, ensuring that our clients are equipped to adapt to changing business environments.

Requirements
  • Proven Experience

Proven experience as a Head of HR or in a senior HR leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering results.

  • Strong Knowledge

Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.

  • Excellent Leadership

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders.

  • Strong Analytical Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to collect and analyse data to inform strategic decisions.
