Supply Chain and Procurement Manager

RPS is partnering with a global aerospace manufacturer to find a Supply Chain & Purchasing Manager for their Cheshire site.

This role involves managing the procurement and planning team, ensuring standard processes are rolled out, and being the senior escalation point for the team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in supply chain management at a senior level in an Aerospace environment, experience in implementing industry best practices, negotiation and contract negotiation, management skills at a senior level, and excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement and planning team
  • Sourcing strategy and procurement projects across the business
  • OTIF deliveries into business and supplier management
  • Execution of monthly Operations Supply Planning activities
  • Facilitate decision making process to balance demand and supply

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in supply chain management at a senior level in an Aerospace environment
  • Experience in implementing industry best practices
