Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Eden Scott's client, a leading business in Edinburgh, is seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Compliance Analyst to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:- Compliance Assessment: Conduct thorough reviews of business operations to ensure adherence to internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential compliance risks within business processes and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Process Optimisation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance is integrated into everyday operations.
- Data Analysis: Analyse business data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern related to compliance, providing actionable insights to management.
- Audit Preparation: Support the preparation for internal and external audits by ensuring all documentation and processes meet regulatory standards.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on compliance activities, risks, and improvements, communicating findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of regulatory changes and industry trends to continuously improve our compliance framework.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Financial Services, or a related field.
- Experience in business operations compliance is essential.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and business process management.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and business software.
