Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Monitor and interpret relevant regulatory developments, ensuring that the company remains compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and filings.

Risk Management:

  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of internal controls to manage compliance risks.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of compliance controls.

Audit & Monitoring:

  • Conduct regular internal audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.
  • Track and ensure the timely resolution of any compliance issues identified during audits.

Training & Education:

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and EU regulatory requirements, particularly FCA regulations and GDPR.
  • Experience with compliance monitoring, auditing, and risk assessment.

Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with compliance management software.
