Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor and interpret relevant regulatory developments, ensuring that the company remains compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and filings.
Risk Management:
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Oversee the development and implementation of internal controls to manage compliance risks.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of compliance controls.
Audit & Monitoring:
- Conduct regular internal audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Training & Education:
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance-related matters, including regulatory changes and internal policies.

Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management, highlighting key compliance risks and issues.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, auditors, and industry bodies.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in compliance.
- Recommend and implement improvements to the compliance program to enhance its effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of UK and EU regulatory requirements, particularly FCA regulations and GDPR.
- Experience with compliance monitoring, auditing, and risk assessment.
Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with compliance management software.
