Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Management Leader to join our team at American International Group. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for embedding risk management across our organization, ensuring consistency with our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior management on risk mitigation and control measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize risks, and develop risk management plans to address them.
- Monitor and report on risk trends and emerging risks, and provide insights to senior management on risk management strategies.
- Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on risk management best practices and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks, and provide recommendations to senior management on risk management strategies.
Requirements
- Significant experience in risk management, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
