Job Summary

George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Informatics Officer to lead the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the clinical safety and quality of the EPR system, as well as promoting clinical engagement and adoption.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the clinical engagement and adoption of the EPR system
  • Ensure the clinical safety and quality of the EPR system
  • Develop and implement digital clinical pathways and systems
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure seamless integration of the EPR system
  • Provide strategic oversight of the EPR programme

Requirements
  • Consultant medical professional with degree qualification
  • On the specialist medical register of the GMC
  • HS Digital Academy Graduate with postgraduate qualification in Digital Health Leadership or equivalent
  • Evidence of on-going continuous professional development in Clinical Informatics and leadership
  • Certified in Clinical Safety of digital systems by NHS Digital
