We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Compliance Officer to join our Compliance team at NFP, an Aon company (Europe). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of strategic and tactical enhancements of the Group Compliance function.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that both internal and external business-as-usual (BAU) compliance requirements are met. This will involve representing the compliance division to the business and providing suitable advice on regulations and compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Advisory: Provide expert advice on regulations and compliance issues to the business, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Training and Competence: Assist with the implementation, monitoring, and administration of our training and competence scheme, including adviser development.
- Research and Diligence: Undertake relevant research and diligence as required by the team, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Complaint Resolution: Support in resolving and responding to complaints, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Compliance Support: Provide general support and administration duties for the compliance division, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in compliance roles or similar within the financial services sector.
- FCA Experience: Experience working with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is highly desirable.
- Integrity and Ethics: A high degree of integrity with high ethical standards is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
