About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dispatch/customer service team at Taunton Station. As a Service Delivery Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely dispatch of trains, while also providing excellent customer service and platform management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch trains in a safe and timely manner
  • Manage the Platform/Train interface
  • Carry out Customer Assists and provide excellent customer service
  • Report any faults and Safety/Security issues
Requirements
  • Able to provide excellent customer service
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Possess and demonstrate good IT skills
  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • Have a good level of numeracy and literacy
  • Good organisational skills
Working Pattern

This role involves shift work as per the roster in operation, which will involve early, middle, and late shifts. This role may involve working a week of night shifts, which will be on a 1 in 6 weekly rotation. All shifts will require working weekends and bank holidays.
