We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. As a Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials, goods, and equipment to support our site logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the front ground level site activity, including deliveries, skip changes, and materials arriving.
- Control and coordinate the movement of materials, goods, and equipment to meet project deadlines.
- Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to optimize supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics to inform business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations.
Requirements:
- Detailed knowledge of health and safety legislation, awareness, and process.
- Site logistics experience with a strong understanding of project flow and demand fulfillment.
- Leadership and people management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with site workers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of plant equipment and the ability to work with initiative when outside influences affect planned operations.
