This innovative international law firm operates across 12 offices, providing legal counsel on complex, high-stakes matters that span multiple jurisdictions. Their areas of expertise include banking and finance, financial restructuring, litigation and arbitration, as well as corporate and private equity.

Role Overview

The firm is committed to delivering exceptional results for clients and is now seeking a seasoned Graduate Recruitment and Business Services Consultant. This role involves overseeing the entire process of Trainee Recruitment and Training Contract programs, alongside managing all Business Services recruitment efforts. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Recruitment Manager and HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Graduate Recruitment

  • Oversee all facets of the Trainee Recruitment and Training Contract programs, from onboarding to qualification.
  • Develop and implement the trainee recruitment marketing strategy, including managing marketing materials and the careers website.
  • Identify target universities and represent the firm at Law Fairs.
  • Manage the London Trainee Recruitment mailbox, addressing queries and applications appropriately.
  • Administer the RARE recruitment system.
  • Coordinate the Summer Vacation scheme, including external training and social event planning.
  • Conduct interviews for vacation scheme and training contract candidates.

Business Services Recruitment

  • Work closely with Business Services Managers to identify recruitment needs within the London office.
  • Ensure recruitment licenses are approved in accordance with firm policies.
  • Utilize effective and cost-efficient recruitment methods, including direct hiring strategies.
  • Review candidate profiles, shortlist applicants, and collaborate with management for interview selections.
  • Participate in interviews, prepare notes, and assist in the final selection process.
  • Track and manage all recruitment-related expenditures, including advertising and recruitment fees.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience at an advisory level in graduate recruitment within a US or global law firm.
  • A recognized CIPD qualification or progress towards it.
  • In-depth knowledge of the legal recruitment landscape and a keen interest in market trends.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles and a high volume of candidates.
  • Proficient in competency and behavioral interviewing techniques.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Compensation

The firm provides excellent opportunities for professional development and career advancement. The starting salary for this role ranges from £60,000 to £70,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
