Job Title: Sales Director UKI

Supermicro is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to lead our UK and Ireland sales team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets across the UKI region.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to ensure alignment with company goals and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners and system integrators, understanding their needs and positioning Supermicro's solutions effectively.
  • Identify new business opportunities, expand Supermicro's presence in the region, and drive penetration into new verticals such as cloud, data center, AI, and edge computing.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and regular performance reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met and feedback is integrated into future product development.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of sales experience in the IT hardware/software industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive a sales team towards ambitious goals.
  • Understanding of server technologies, cloud solutions, AI, and edge computing, with the ability to engage in technical discussions with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop strategic sales plans, with a focus on long-term growth and market expansion.
