Position Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned Senior Mechanical Project Leader to supervise projects in the East Midlands region.

The successful candidate will possess a solid history of managing new construction projects within the commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, educational, and healthcare domains, with project values ranging from £1M to £20M.

Mechanical qualifications are a prerequisite for this position.


Assume full accountability for the planning, execution, and successful completion of mechanical projects within the specified sectors and geographical area.


  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are clearly articulated, comprehended, and fulfilled.
  • Formulate and oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources to guarantee projects are completed punctually and within financial limits.
  • Offer technical expertise and direction on mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Inspire and lead project teams, cultivating a cooperative work atmosphere and driving performance to meet project objectives.
  • Conduct regular site evaluations and inspections to track progress, identify potential challenges, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.


Demonstrated experience as a Senior Mechanical Project Leader, with a history of successfully delivering new construction projects within the commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, educational, and healthcare sectors.


  • Mechanical qualifications are essential, with a comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems and installations.
  • Strong project management capabilities, encompassing budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing mechanical installations and construction projects.
  • A valid UK driving license and readiness to travel to project sites within the East Midlands region.
