Job Title: Children's Haemoglobinopathy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Children's Registered Nurse to join our team as a Children's Haemoglobinopathy Specialist at the Royal Stoke Hospital.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work in the Child Health Directorate to provide an effective service for children and young people with Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia. They will develop and deliver innovative and evidence-based practice through professional leadership, supporting the clinical team to develop the specialist area of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clinicians to provide an effective service for children and young people with Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia
  • Develop and deliver innovative and evidence-based practice through professional leadership
  • Support the clinical team to develop the specialist area of care
Requirements
  • Current Children's Nursing Registration: RSCN/RN-Child
  • Degree Level Nursing/Health related studies
  • Clinical Health Assessment Skills Qualification
  • Mentorship or equivalent
