Position Overview

Apt Talent Solutions is currently seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of service delivery across various contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the functionality and condition of all site equipment is upheld and meets client specifications.
  • Respond to breakdowns within the designated timeframe as per contract obligations.
  • Diagnose, repair, and resolve faults with precision.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) checks and routine servicing on all heating systems and related infrastructure.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for reactive maintenance, promptly identifying and addressing issues.
  • Execute remedial works, upgrades, retrofits, and replacements as necessary.
  • Manage the procurement of replacement components.
  • Ensure all equipment is left in a secure state in compliance with current GAS Safe regulations.
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with the latest GAS Safe standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Service Desk and support fellow engineers on-site when needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in PPM, diagnostics, repairs, and small-scale works on commercial boiler systems, heating installations, associated piping, and control mechanisms.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in servicing and maintaining combustion management systems is advantageous.

Required Certifications:

  • ACS Commercial Gas: CCN1, CENWAT, COCN1 / CODNCO1, CDGA1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1a, BMP1
  • As necessary: CORT1, TPCP1, CCP1
  • Valid UK driving license
