Job Overview

This position is integral to the Operations team within the Recruitment division, which is part of the broader People and Culture department. The team is responsible for delivering comprehensive permanent recruitment assistance to National Grid.

The primary objective of the coordinator role is to offer continuous and proactive support to the recruitment team. This encompasses scheduling interviews, overseeing right to work verifications, managing inquiries from shared mailboxes, and providing assistance with various administrative tasks such as initiating new vendor setups and processing Purchase Orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple inboxes, both internal and external, ensuring adherence to a 24-hour service level agreement (SLA).
  • Communicate effectively with candidates via phone and email.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including recruitment partners and candidates, to arrange interviews.
  • Assist in the preparation of interview documentation, schedules, confirmation emails, and calendar invites for Hiring Managers.
  • Manage administrative duties such as confirming parking arrangements for candidates, conducting right to work checks, and processing candidate reimbursements.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Awareness of the significance of data management within the recruitment process.
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Previous experience in a large corporate environment and familiarity with an ATS or similar HR system is advantageous.

Benefits

A competitive salary range of £31,000 - £34,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.
