Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

Job Overview:

Lionsgate Contractors, a leading construction company, is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee mechanical installations and maintenance projects in the UK. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical engineering and project management, with a strong focus on delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of mechanical projects, including planning, execution, and closing.
    • Ensure that all mechanical installations and maintenance work adhere to industry standards and client specifications.
  • Safety Leadership:
    • Prioritize health and safety by conducting regular inspections and enforcing safety protocols.
    • Implement and oversee all necessary HSE procedures related to mechanical projects.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Resource Management:
    • Manage project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Client Communication:
    • Maintain strong client relationships by providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Essential:
    • Proven experience in mechanical project management.
    • Strong background in mechanical engineering and installations.
    • Valid Managers CSCS Card.
    • SMSTS certification.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and plans.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
