Position Overview:

Lionsgate Contractors is on the lookout for a proficient Mechanical Project Manager to oversee mechanical installation and maintenance initiatives in the Leicester and Sheffield regions. The successful applicant will possess substantial expertise in mechanical engineering and project oversight, emphasizing the importance of executing projects safely, punctually, and within budgetary constraints. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.


Relevant experience fields: Civils & Waste/Sewage Drainage worksCore Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

  • Manage all phases of mechanical projects, encompassing planning, execution, and closure.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications throughout all mechanical installations and maintenance activities.

Safety Management:

  • Emphasize health and safety by conducting regular inspections and enforcing established safety protocols.
  • Implement and supervise all necessary health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures related to mechanical projects.

Team Management:

  • Lead and coordinate project teams, including engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient project delivery.

Resource Coordination:

  • Oversee project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.

Client Engagement:

  • Foster strong client relationships by providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical project management.
  • Solid background in mechanical engineering and installations.
  • Valid Managers CSCS Card.
  • SMSTS certification.

Skills:

  • Expertise in interpreting mechanical drawings and plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
