Position Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Mechanical Systems Assistant to join our workforce in Nuneaton. This position entails supporting the installation, upkeep, and repair of mechanical systems and machinery across various assignments, ensuring compliance with the high standards of quality and safety that define Lionsgate Contractors.

Key Duties:

  • Installation & Maintenance: Aid in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, including ventilation, drainage systems, and concrete finishing.
  • Tool Proficiency: Skilled in the use of hand and power tools for drilling, cutting, and assembling components.
  • Technical Understanding: Accurately read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • System Inspections: Perform routine inspections and testing of mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Safety Adherence: Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Assistance to Senior Fitters: Provide support to senior mechanical fitters in executing their responsibilities, ensuring efficient and timely project completion.
  • Documentation: Record and report any issues or discrepancies to senior fitters or supervisors.
