About the Role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced Model-Based Systems Engineer to support a leading commercial aerospace client. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the implementation of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) across the system lifecycle, from concept definition to in-service support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate the principles of MBSE to stakeholders and provide technical leadership in the adoption of an MBSE approach.
  • Propose MBSE solutions to address client needs, including framework improvements.
  • Support live systems engineering projects in the adoption of MBSE based on client needs.
  • Develop and configure MBSE toolsets, set up projects, establish traceability between artifacts, and assist with toolset integration.
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of desired outcomes and growth of the account.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with the rest of the MBSE team and support the development of the team's capabilities.

Requirements

  • Experience in using MBSE tools such as Cameo System Modeler / Magic Draw / CATIA Magic.
  • Experience with MBSE frameworks like Magic Grid, Harmony, Arcadia, CESAM, OOSEM, SYSMOD, CORE.
  • Experience in developing, maintaining, and using an MBSE model.
  • Experience in the adoption of SysML modelling language, industry-standard MBSE frameworks, and tools in an engineering project.
  • Experience working in the aerospace/defence industry.
  • Experience working in an engineering context (mechanical, electrical, software, systems).
  • Experience working in a manufacturing engineering environment.
  • Systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management and system design process (including system and sub-system specification).
