We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Everpool. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people living in our residential home, promoting their independence and helping them achieve a brighter future.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to children and young people, helping them to develop life skills and achieve their goals.
- Work collaboratively with the Home Manager and other team members to ensure the highest standards of care and support.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Encourage and support children and young people to participate in activities and engage with their community.
- Monitor and record the progress of children and young people, reporting any concerns or issues to the Home Manager.
- NVQ/QCF level 3 award in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or Caring for Children and Young People.
- Competitive pay with an additional £60.00 for sleep shifts.
- Enhanced overtime rate between £15.35 & £16.38 per hour.
- £500 welcome bonus upon successful passing of probation.
- £50 birthday and £50 Christmas Amazon vouchers.
- 45p per mile for work-related travel.
- Generous annual leave: 214.5 hours and 5 sleeps paid per year.
