Job Title: Female Community Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Community Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will work closely with individuals who have congenital deafblindness, providing personalized support and care in their own homes and within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to adults with congenital deafblindness, assisting with daily activities, personal care, and community integration.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement personalized support plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our service users.
  • Support individuals with a range of needs, including personal care, arts and crafts, music, swimming, sports, and exercising.
  • Attend medical appointments, including medication administration, and work with healthcare professionals to ensure person-centered care.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, including the intervenor pathway.
Requirements:
  • BSL Level 1 is preferred, but a willingness to work towards it is essential.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work overtime when required.
  • A level of energy and enthusiasm to complement our team and support individuals.
