The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, demonstrating their capability to navigate and manage health and safety requirements effectively within an organization of comparable size and complexity.
The successful candidate will possess an excellent working knowledge of health and safety regulations and frameworks, enabling them to apply this expertise practically within our operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues on health and safety best practices and procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Membership of IOSH with a minimum of three years of continuous professional development (CPD).
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to present and advocate for health and safety measures persuasively.
- Proficiency in report writing and data analysis.
