Estates and Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estates and Facilities Officer to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of our Estates services, ensuring that our facilities are maintained in a safe and compliant condition for patients, staff, and visitors.
Main Responsibilities- Supervise the operational management of Estates services, including electrical and mechanical services, planned preventative maintenance, and minor works.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure a seamless Estates Engineering management service is maintained at all times.
- Make operational decisions and provide routine advice across all aspects of Estates Engineering management.
- Monitor and report on Estates Engineering services, including budget management and recharging mechanisms.
- Operational Management HNC/D in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience in managing Estates Engineering contracts and a detailed understanding of health care operational environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize workload and manage competing demands.
