We are in search of a skilled Technical Artist who can seamlessly integrate into our team and contribute to the creation of groundbreaking gaming experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of shader development and post-processing techniques. Experience with Unreal Engine and technical proficiency in Maya will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong and adaptable rigging and skinning abilities.
  • Identify and resolve issues within the art pipeline, providing effective solutions.
  • Offer optimization recommendations for various artistic elements within games.
  • Develop and refine material shaders and blueprints.
  • Collaborate closely with both coding and artistic teams.
  • Engage in constructive critique and iterative processes within a team setting.
  • Adhere to and replicate established artistic styles.
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of platform technology, asset management, and pipeline workflows.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in creating and optimizing shaders.
  • A minimum of one year in a similar position.
  • Self-motivated with a creative mindset.
  • Strong and versatile skills in visual effects.
  • Mandatory experience with Unreal Engine.
  • Familiarity with Maya.
  • High attention to quality in all work.
  • Experience with blueprints.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Artistic education at a graduate level or equivalent.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing shader work.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with iterative development and rapid gameplay prototyping.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4.
  • Experience in console game development.
  • Lighting expertise.
  • Knowledge of Houdini.
