We are in search of a 3D Technical Artist who can seamlessly integrate into our team, contributing to the creation of engaging experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of shader development and post-processing techniques. Proficiency in Unreal Engine and technical skills in Maya will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate robust skills in Rigging and Skinning
  • Identify and resolve issues within the art pipeline
  • Provide optimization recommendations for all artistic elements in a game
  • Develop and enhance material shaders and blueprints
  • Collaborate closely with both coding and artistic teams
  • Engage in constructive critique and iterative processes
  • Adhere to and replicate established artistic styles
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of platform technology, asset management, and pipeline workflows

Qualifications

  • Experience in creating and optimizing shaders
  • A minimum of one year in a similar role
  • Creative mindset with self-motivation
  • Strong VFX capabilities
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine is essential
  • Experience with Maya
  • High attention to quality
  • Familiarity with Blueprints
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Artistic education at least at the graduate level
  • A strong portfolio showcasing shader work

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with iterative development and rapid gameplay prototyping
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4
  • Experience in console game development
  • Lighting expertise
  • Knowledge of Houdini
