We are in search of a skilled Technical Artist who can seamlessly integrate into our team, contributing to the creation of groundbreaking gaming experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of shader development and post-processing techniques. Proficiency in Unreal Engine and technical skills in Maya will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong and adaptable rigging and skinning abilities.
- Identify and resolve issues within the art pipeline, providing effective solutions.
- Offer optimization recommendations for various artistic elements within games.
- Develop and refine material shaders and blueprints.
- Collaborate closely with both coding and artistic teams.
- Engage in constructive critique and iterative processes within a team setting.
- Adhere to and replicate established artistic styles.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of platform technology, asset management, and pipeline methodologies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in creating and optimizing shaders.
- A minimum of one year in a similar position.
- Creative, self-driven, and motivated.
- Strong and versatile skills in visual effects.
- Experience with Unreal Engine is essential.
- Familiarity with Maya is required.
- High attention to quality and detail.
- Experience with blueprints.
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Artistic education at a graduate level or equivalent.
- A robust portfolio showcasing shader work.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with iterative development and rapid gameplay prototyping.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4.
- Experience in console game development.
- Knowledge of lighting techniques.
