Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager/Financial Controller to join our team at Accountancy Elite. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements for a wide range of businesses, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Leading statutory audits on behalf of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Full involvement in the planning stages of accounting and audit assignments, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Training and supervising junior members of staff to support their development and growth
  • Regular use of cloud-based accounting software, such as Xero and QuickBooks

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or QBE with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a UK practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work
