Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Armstrong Knight. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining company confidentiality, supervising the Management Accounts team, and providing financial and accounting information to senior personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans to optimize the efficiency and performance of the Management Accounts function.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports to senior personnel, including the monthly Management Accounts and Year-end supplier statement reconciliations.
- Financial Control: Authorize invoices, manage cash flow, and maintain accurate records to ensure the integrity of our financial systems.
- Communication and Liaison: Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to provide timely responses to queries and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Investigations and Problem-Solving: Conduct formal investigations and provide recommendations to senior personnel to resolve financial and accounting issues.
- Financial Systems and Processes: Review and develop new systems, work practices, and controls to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports to senior personnel, including daily cash flow balances, transfers, and online banking.
- Insurance and Risk Management: Prepare and submit insurance claims as required and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
