Position Overview: A remarkable opportunity has emerged for a seasoned marketing and business development professional within a prestigious global law firm. This role is integral to the execution of the firm's strategic vision, focusing on the management and successful implementation of business development, client engagement, and marketing strategies for the Global Regulatory, Investigations & Financial Crime Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategic development of the firm's Global Regulatory, Investigations & Financial Crime group, which is part of a leading Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of specialists worldwide to support financial institutions, corporations, and governmental entities on complex regulatory and criminal matters.
  • Oversee the business planning process, ensuring effective pursuit of opportunities and tailored contributions to significant pitches and capability statements.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of competitors, clients, and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the visibility and reputation of the group and its lawyers through events, seminars, and sponsorships.
  • Manage multiple marketing communications projects, including global directory submissions and thought leadership content.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in business development, ideally within a law firm or as a practicing lawyer in RIFC matters. A strong understanding of the work types covered by the RIFC group, coupled with experience engaging with senior management and key stakeholders, is essential. The successful candidate will be commercially astute, detail-oriented, and proactive, with well-honed coaching, influencing, and presentation skills. A proven track record in a leadership capacity is also required.
