Position: Quality Systems Specialist – Lead Auditor

Location: Onsite

Contract Type: Contract | 6 months - initially

Compensation: up to £85 per hour

Overview:

An exceptional opportunity exists to join Indotronix Avani UK as a Quality Systems Specialist: Lead Auditor. We are in search of a qualified professional with a solid background in Airplane Line Maintenance, Heavy/Base Maintenance, and/or Aircraft Modification. The ideal candidate will spearhead the Audit and Personnel Board Approval activities as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the Annual/Monthly BCASEL audit program, encompassing internal audits, suppliers, customers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Oversee the authorization process for Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Stores personnel.
  • Assist in formulating audit scopes, schedules, and plans to ensure adherence to regulatory and customer standards, operating with minimal supervision.
  • Review Policies and Procedures: Evaluate company systems, policies, and procedures, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Communicate audit findings and concerns to relevant personnel or representatives of suppliers/service providers.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of non-compliances, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive measures are implemented.
  • Ensure all audit findings are addressed with suitable corrective and/or preventive actions.
  • Monitor and resolve occurrence reports, analyze trends, and relay this information to the management team.
  • Engage with regulatory authorities to address quality and safety issues.
  • Generate internal reports as necessary.
  • Support stakeholders in analyzing process data, metrics, models, and flows to identify root causes of complex issues and assist in the development and execution of corrective actions.
  • Collaborate as part of both local and broader teams and/or customer teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Lead Auditor Qualification, with substantial experience in conducting internal and external audits.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a Line/Heavy/Base Maintenance and/or Airplane Modification environment.
  • Familiarity with EASA, UK CAA, and/or FAA regulations, particularly Part-145.
  • Experience in collaborating with regulators and customers, interpreting their requirements for safety and compliance monitoring.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong capability to work effectively within a team.
  • Proficient in standard office software.
  • Willingness to undertake diverse tasks and complete them efficiently.
  • Must be willing to travel as required.
  • Eligibility to obtain an airside access pass.
  • Right to live and work in the United Kingdom.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Human Factors Qualification, with relevant experience.
  • Understanding of workplace and operational safety.
  • Familiarity with the Q-Pulse compliance management system.
  • Experience in data mining, analysis, and presenting findings.
  • Experience with Safety or Quality Corrective Action/Preventative Action, Root Cause Corrective Actions.
  • Experience in developing and producing performance metrics.
