Job Title: Senior Database Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Developer to join our team at Specialist Recruit. As a key member of our database development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality database systems using Oracle Standard or Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Design and Development: Design and develop database systems, including schema design, data modeling, and database performance optimization.
  • PL/SQL Development: Develop and maintain high-quality PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Database Administration: Administer and maintain database systems, including backup and recovery, security, and performance tuning.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of database systems.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and expertise with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality database development practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Standard or Enterprise, with a strong background in database design, development, and administration.
  • Qualifications: An appropriate professional qualification, degree, or equivalent experience in database development and administration.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
