We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PMO Lead to join our M&G Wealth Change team in the Project Management Office (PMO). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the M&G Wealth Change Agenda and Portfolios, working closely with Change Leads, project managers, and the central Transformation Office to monitor and manage an appropriate control and reporting framework.

The Role:

The PMO Lead will be responsible for contributing to the success of projects and value streams, supporting Wealth in achieving its strategic objectives. This will involve effective stakeholder communication, strong relationships, collaboration, cross-project teamwork, and cross-functional relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting, monitoring, and reporting on the Value Stream delivery and performance, including assisting Change Lead and Project Managers with status reporting, milestone reporting, RAID (Risk, Assumption, Issue, and Dependency) management.
  • Ensuring the Value Stream adheres to M&G Change Standards and produces quality project documentation to meet governance and control standards.
  • Supporting the Change Lead and Project Managers with governance meetings, such as Steering Committees and Working Groups.
  • Providing commercial support for programmes and projects, including supporting contractual agreements through M&G systems, gaining approvals, and initiating requisitions and payment of invoices.
  • Ensuring accurate financial reporting for the Value Stream, including cost forecasts, resource plans, accrual management, and other financial aspects.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of monitoring and reporting in a project environment.
  • Experience of delivery through a full project lifecycle.
  • Experience of managing stakeholders across a range of business areas.
  • Experience of project governance and producing quality project documentation.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA/Confluence, Microsoft tools, PPM tools, risk management principles, and project methodologies.
