Job Summary:

Majestic Wine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Retail Manager to join our team in Plymouth. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of retail professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales Performance: Support the Store Manager in managing daily operations and maximizing sales opportunities to achieve KPI targets.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to enhance customer loyalty and engagement.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and mentor the team to reach their full potential and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Store Operations: Maintain the store's appearance and operational standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, communicating effectively with the team and ensuring they are updated on business updates.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Qualifications: WSET 2 Qualification required, and a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence.
