Front End Developer

About the Role

WRK digital is seeking a skilled Front End Developer to join their team at a rapidly growing digital agency in the UK. As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for delivering market-leading ecommerce services to retail clients throughout Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and extending in-house Shopify themes and delivering extensions
  • Improving and maintaining website performance and accessibility
  • Clearly documenting and educating stakeholders on new features or changes to the platform
  • Assessing the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs in Shopify
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver projects
  • Staying up-to-date with Shopify technologies and tooling

Requirements

  • Solid experience and understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Embracing best practices for SEO
  • Good understanding of package management and build tools
  • Experience with React and TypeScript
  • Bonus skills: Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs, custom Shopify App development, Shopify Polaris, Figma, command line tools, Shopify CLI, and commercial experience with Shopify Liquid

The Package

WRK digital offers a competitive salary of £30k - £50k depending on experience, remote working opportunities, internal training, regular socials, and a pension scheme.
