WRK digital is partnering with a rapidly growing digital agency in Leeds to find a skilled Front End Developer to join their Shopify development team.

As a Front End Developer, you will be working on delivering market-leading ecommerce services to retail clients throughout Europe, providing technical and marketing expertise to maximize their return on investment.

The Role

Design and develop in-house Shopify themes and extensions, ensuring seamless user experiences and optimal performance.

Collaborate with stakeholders to clearly document and educate on new features and changes to the platform.

Assess the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs in Shopify, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Work harmoniously with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Stay up-to-date with Shopify technologies and tooling, driving innovation and improvement.

About You

Proven experience with HTML, CSS, and JS, with a solid understanding of best practices for SEO.

Experience with package management (npm) and build tools (gulp), as well as React and Typescript.

Bonus Skills

Confident use of Shopify's Admin and Storefront API's (GraphQL, REST), with exposure to custom Shopify App development and Shopify's Polaris.

Experience with Figma, command line tools, and the Shopify CLI, as well as commercial experience with Shopify Liquid.

A history of championing coding standards and experience with legacy JS libraries.
