About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Front End Developer to join our Shopify development team at WRK Digital. As a Front End Developer, you will play a crucial role in delivering market-leading ecommerce services to retail clients throughout Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and extending in-house Shopify themes and delivering extensions (e.g. Checkout Validation, Custom Discounts)
  • Improving and maintaining website performance and accessibility
  • Clearly documenting and educating stakeholders on new features or changes to the platform
  • Assessing the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs in Shopify
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements:

  • Solid experience and understanding of tech such as HTML, CSS, and JS
  • Embracing best practices for SEO
  • Good understanding of package management (npm) and build tools (gulp)
  • Experience with React, Typescript, and Shopify's Admin and Storefront API's (GraphQL, REST)
  • Bonus skills: exposure to custom Shopify App development and Shopify's Polaris, experience with Figma, command line tools, and Shopify CLI

The Package:
