We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to lead our installations team. This role offers leadership opportunities, the chance to improve processes, and the chance to build a growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure point of sale hardware and software systems at customer locations, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and make necessary repairs to ensure uninterrupted system functionality.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and employees on how to use and troubleshoot point-of-sale systems effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in point-of-sale technology and remain proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, inventory, and equipment status, and provide timely reports to the service team and management.
  • Foster positive customer relationships by delivering exceptional service, resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

Requirements:

  • Experience in field engineering, hardware and software installation, and maintenance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of point-of-sale systems and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
