Job Summary:

Baltimore Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced SEND Case Officer to join our team. As a SEND Case Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting young people and their families through the statutory assessment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to young people, parents, carers, and schools involved in the statutory assessment process.
  • Process Annual Reviews, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Develop, draft, and amend Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) that meet the needs of young people.
  • Manage a caseload, taking ownership of each case and ensuring seamless support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a SEND Case Officer, with a strong understanding of the SEND process.
  • Extensive knowledge of the SEND framework and legislation.
  • Experience working within a Local Authority, with a strong understanding of the Education system from 0-25 years.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
