As a Digital Workplace Specialist (M365 & Identity) - Cloud Migration Expert, you will work within our Digital Services Practice, collaborating with a talented team who are passionate about delivering business value to our customers. As Sword Group is an established Microsoft Gold partner, you will experience the latest Microsoft technologies and grow your skills through exciting and challenging projects and the opportunity to attain Microsoft certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver complex solutions for a range of customers, from Mid-market to Enterprise scale, leveraging Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online / Exchange Hybrid, migration tooling and architectures, and cloud network & connectivity fundamentals.
  • Implement hybrid messaging and identity frameworks to take customers from 'art of the possible' to design, through to PoC/Pilot and implementation, utilizing Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID and identity & authentication architectures (Cloud native and hybrid).
  • Advise customers on the Microsoft Cloud Security capabilities across the M365 (and where applicable Azure) platform, particularly on the Defender suite of technologies, and implement identity driven security (Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Defender for Identity PIM etc.).
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the Microsoft Zero Trust Framework and supporting customers maturity journeys, as well as Microsoft, NCSC, CIS and ISO frameworks and best practice guidance for M365 services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality documentation and solution artefacts, and provide excellent communication skills to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in either a channel, vendor or customer side hands-on technical consulting role.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering complex solutions for a range of customers, from Mid-market to Enterprise scale.
  • Experience of migrating organisations to M365 and implementing hybrid messaging and identity frameworks.
  • Strong background of producing high-quality documentation and solution artefacts.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good organisational and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to new technology and keep abreast of current industry trends and best practices.
